On Oct. 17, 2007, the open interest of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange ( ZCE) hit a new high again at 177922 contracts, exceeding the last record of 145790 contracts set on Oct. 16, 2007.
