Along with a number of exchanges in Europe, the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius will observe two minutes of silence at 13:00 CET on Monday, September 11, 2006 in commemoration of the victims of the attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001.
The trading system will not be closed down. However, OMX respectfully requests market participants to observe the minutes of silence and refrain from all trading activities between 13:00 and 13:02 CET.
Tallinn Stock Exchange, Riga Stock Exchange and Vilnius Stock Exchange, where the trading day ends at 13:00 CET, will observe the two minutes of silence internally and request that their trading members also observe the silent moment.
