Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX) will begin its six-month promotional campaign - Be Lucky with TFEX - for SET50 Options on Options Day (October 13 – 14). The new product will be launched on October 29. Derivatives brokers will participate in Options Day providing information, services and special give-aways.
"In preparation for SET50 Options, TFEX has hosted several educational events, and will now conduct Be Lucky with TFEX from October 29 until April 2008. Options Day will enable people to learn more about our new product,” TFEX Managing Director Ms. Kesara Manchusree said.
The promotion will offer people prizes of THB 1,000 if they trade the options during the first five minutes of product launch on October 29. Furthermore, over the first six months of trading, the three investors achieving the highest returns from options each month will receive prizes totaling THB 50,000 while the top ten gainers during March – April, 2008 will each win an overseas derivatives study trip worth THB 50,000.
To join Be Lucky with TFEX, interested persons must be members of the Futures Society, a community of people interested in derivatives, which will be launched on Options Day.
At that event, there will be seminars about the new product, the Bull & Bear Simulation for those wishing to try trading SET50 Futures and Options, and opportunities for people to open accounts with brokerage firms. Visitors will also have the chance to receive special gifts from TFEX and participating brokers.
