Thai Brokerage SCIBS Transfers Operations To TNS As Result Of Merger

Due to the merger of Siam City Bank PCL and Thanachart Bank PCL, Siam City Securities Co., Ltd. (SCIBS) will transfer its operations as a securities broker and derivatives agent to Thanachart Securities PCL (TNS). SCIBS will temporarily cease operations from January 1, 2011 onward.

Ms. Kesara Manchusree, Group Head - Products & Business Development of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) disclosed that SCIBS customers will be serviced by TNS personnel. SCIBS will temporarily cease its operations as a securities broker for the SET and derivatives agent for the Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX) from January 1, 2011 onward.
