The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), including its subsidiaries, from January 4, 2016 onwards, will move to the new head office at 93 Ratchadaphisek road, Bangkok, a new investment landmark, providing full-range of services to accommodate capital market development, while being an environmentally friendly building showcase.
SET President Kesara Manchusree announced that effective from January 4, 2016 the office of SET and subsidiaries will be officially moved into the new building at 93 Ratchadaphisek road, Dindaeng, Dindaeng, Bangkok 10400, in a Bangkok business district.
“This new building is located on our own property, in one of Bangkok’s central business districts. The construction of this building started from 2011 and completed in 2015. It will serve as an investment landmark and international financial hub, providing full range of services for investors, capital market related-entities and general public, in order to enhance Thai capital market’s growth and support SET’s role and mission to be a key driver for the country’s economic development,” added Kesara
The SET’s new building has been designed as a one-stop investment knowledge center, consisting of: “INVESTORY,” the first investment learning museum in Thailand, Maruey Knowledge & Resource Center, a complete investment resource for the Thai Capital Market, with on-going seminars, training and workshops all year round. It also houses the Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd.’s “TSD Counter Service” on the ground floor, making it convenient for investors.
SET aims to making this an environmentally friendly showcase. With the world-class design and construction in line with the Leadership in the Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification program of the U.S. Green Building Council, as well as cutting-edge technologies, energy-efficiency and environmentally friendly features, it is truly a “Green” building for today and tomorrow.
