Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Weekly Review: July 26-30, 2015

  • Trading on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) on the fourth week of July, was marked a mix trendin the leading share indices; 
  • Further offerings in the bond market

TA-25 index 

The TA-25 index increased 0.6% over the last week, and increased 16.9% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 10.2% for the whole of 2014.

TA-100 index 

The TA-100 index increased 0.8% over the last week, and increased 14.7% since the beginning of the year, after an increase of 6.7% for the whole of 2014.

TA-BIOMED 

The TA-BIOMED index decreased 5.3% this week. Since the beginning of the year the index decreased by0.3%, after a decrease of 33.9% in 2014.

Corporate Bonds  

This week there were three bond offerings to the public on TASE by the business sector amounting to US$ 270 million.

The largest offering was made by Dexia Israel bank amounting to US$ 158 million.

Since the beginning of the year the business sector raised US$ 9.9 billion through bonds on TASE.

Share Offerings 

The biomed company Pluristem whose shares are traded also on NASDAQ, raised US$ 17 million this week in a public share offering in US.

Since the beginning of the year, the business sector raised US$ 0.8 billion in shares on TASE.

Government Bonds 

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) made a bond offering this week listed on the TASE, amounting to US$ 0.1 billion.

Since the beginning of the year, the MoF raised a total of US$ 6.1 billion in bond offerings on TASE.

BOI Interest Rate 

The Bank of Israel left the interest rate unchanged at 0.1% for August 2015.
