TSE’s broad index lost 3.8% in the week ended 22 January.
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index diminished 3268 points and stood at 82029 level at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return reached about 115% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices respectively lost 2801 and lost 4283 units, to shrink 4.36% and 2.69% comparing one week earlier.
During the four working days of the week ended 22 January 2014, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover declined 43.4% and amounted to approximately IRR 12 trillion*. In the period, nearly 2.7 billion shares were traded in 312929 transactions, which respectively decreased 46.4% and 33.4% than its preceding week.
Total number of 63861 participation bonds at the value of IRR 64 billion was traded at TSE in the week which is roughly 6% more than the prior week.
