In mid-August 2007, the SWX Swiss Exchange commenced operation of its new electronic financial information wall. It has a fresh look and offers an array of new functions.
The electronic financial information wall in the SWX building on Selnaustrasse in Zurich continuously displays the latest readings for the SPI, SMI and SLI, as well as for indices from various exchanges around the world. Also on display is additional financial information such as news, charts etc., supplied by Telekurs Financial, Switzerland’s leading provider of financial information.
Because the media frequently use the electronic financial information wall as a photo motif, current images of it are available for downloading at www.swx.com (under “Information”).
Rolotec AG, a Biel-based subsidiary of the Telekurs Group, was general contractor for the project and, among other things, also bore responsibility for the software programming and project management.
Kilchenmann AG, Kehrsatz, supplied the electronic financial information wall.
