Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) Approves Borse Dubai As Owner For OMX

Borse Dubai meets the requirements that are placed on an owner of a qualifying holding in OMX. This decision was announced by FI today.

The requirements on owners of a Swedish stock exchange are set out in the Securities Markets Act. FI shall approve an owner if there is reason to believe that the owner is suitable to exercise a significant influence over the management of the firm.

FI's assessment is that Borse Dubai meets the requirements of the Act on the buyer of a qualifying holding in OMX.
