Bursa Malaysia wishes to clarify that it is continuously seeking to explore and initiate viable business opportunities which will benefit and create value for the Company. In line with this, Bursa Malaysia will continue to evaluate any potential opportunities with potential strategic partners.
However, as of today, the Company has not concluded any tie-up (including possible acquisition of a stake in Bursa Malaysia) with any potential strategic partner. Bursa Malaysia will promptly make the necessary statement upon conclusion of a tie-up, if any.
Currently, Bursa Malaysia has an on-going business project to launch Bursa Malaysia's new trading platform with Atos Euronext Market Solutions Limited (AEMS), NYSE Euronext's technology subsidiary. This relationship started in 2003 when Bursa Malaysia agreed to establish a new trading platform with AEMS.
