2. Reasons for deletions
Isetan Co Ltd, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co Ltd, Mitsukoshi Ltd and TIS Inc are deleted from the S&P Japan 500 indices due to the stock transfer to form the new holding company, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd, IT Holdings Corp and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group Holdings Inc respectively.
For index calculation purpose, the price of these 4 stocks, Isetan Co Ltd, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co Ltd, Mitsukoshi Ltd and TIS Inc will be frozen as of the close of March 25th, the last trading day to March 31st in the S&P Japan SmallCap 250, S&P Japan MidCap 100, S&P/TOPIX 150 and S&P Japan 500.
3. Details for added companies
- Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd (Japan, SEDOL: B2Q4CL4, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25503010) shares used for index calculation will be 400,534,404 and its IWF will be 0.87.
- IT Holdings Corp (Japan, SEDOL: B2Q4CR0, GICS: Information Technology, GICS Code: 45102010) shares used for index calculation will be 86,370,759 and its IWF will be 0.94.
- Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group Holdings Inc (Japan, SEDOL: B2Q4CS1, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40301040) shares used for index calculation will be 453,955,464 and its IWF will be 0.91.
- Tokai Rika Co Ltd (Japan, SEDOL: 6894025, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25101010) shares used for index calculation will be 94,234,171 and its IWF will be 0.54.
