Speakerbus, the specialist provider of critical voice collaboration solutions for financial institutions, emergency and command infrastructure, announces the appointment of Patrick McCullough as Chief Executive Officer, effective today.
A proven business-builder with a long track record of growing international communication and technology businesses, McCullough joins Speakerbus with over 25 years’ experience in senior management positions in New York, London and Paris, working for major companies, including Cisco, Avaya and AcmePacket. McCullough joins Speakerbus from CafeX Communications, where he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Operations.
About his appointment as CEO of Speakerbus, McCullough said: “Speakerbus is a company with great technological history and roots in important vertical markets. With more than 30 years of developing world-class communications products and systems, Speakerbus has established an enviable list of clients ranging from the largest global financial institutions to some of the most critical command and control (C2) sectors in Europe and North America. I think there is an exceptional opportunity to take the company’s expertise and solutions to many new industries and establish similar customer value based on our innovative solutions. I am joining Speakerbus because I can clearly see significant potential for growth in both their current and new vertical markets.”
Having founded Speakerbus in 1984, Andy Wodhams moves from CEO to Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), a new position within Speakerbus which will allow him greater focus on technical development and innovation. Commenting on his new CEO, Wodhams said: “Having Patrick join us is a major change of gear for Speakerbus: we already have a long-established record of developing and supporting some of the world’s largest financial institutions with the best communications technology.
