SIX Swiss Exchange - June 2015: Excellent First Half-Year

After the first six months of 2015, SIX Swiss Exchange and SIX Structured Products Exchange Ltd can look back on excellent figures. Initiated by the historic records established on 15 January, turnover at the end of June rose by 30.9% to CHF 752'637 million compared to the same period in the previous year. During the same time span, the number of transactions rose by even 39.6% to 26'362'644. In the most important segment equities incl. Funds & ETPs, the increase was even higher, with turnover up 34.2% and transactions up 41.2%.

Furthermore, the month of June 2015 showed stronger figures than the previous month. Across all segments, 11.8% more transactions have been recorded (total of 4'257'865), while turnover rose by 16.9% (to CHF 117'557 mn). More detailed figures are available in the statistical monthly report[PDF].
