SIX Exchange Regulation initiates an investigation against Weatherford International Ltd., Zug, on the grounds of possible breaches of the rules governing the disclosure of management transactions, ad hoc publicity as well as the rules governing the listing procedure.
Having finished its preliminary investigation SIX Exchange Regulation has initiated an investigation against Weatherford International Ltd., Zug, on the grounds of possible breaches of the obligations regarding the disclosure of management transactions, regarding ad hoc publicity as well as the rules governing the listing procedure.
The investigation is connected to the late publication of management transactions, to the information practice of the company regarding the intended creation of authorized capital which was disapproved by the general meeting of shareholders on 23 May 2012 (ad hoc publicity) and the failure to file the application for the listing of 70,028,123 registered shares stemming from authorized capital on due time.
Investigatory proceedings will continue for an indefinite period. SIX Exchange Regulation will announce the findings, however, no information will be provided while the investigation is ongoing.
