Shenzhen Stock Exchange: Trading Suspension Of Listed Companies Based In Sichuan Province - 3rd Phase

On May 14, 2008, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SSE) has contacted with some listed companies based in earthquake-stricken area who disclosed earthquake related information and had company operations stabilized.

Nine companies including Sofcra Special-Typed Fiber (000584?Datong Gas (000593)?Hi-the Development (000628) Hoist Group (000790) Sichuan Hushan (000801) Joint-wit Medical & Pharmaceutical (000809)?Resources Jinhua (000810)?sichuan shengda (000835) and Emei shan (000888) will announce effect of earthquake today and their stock will resume trading one hour after announcement.

Another ten suspended companies applied to SZSE for continued suspension and are undertaking effect appraisal. These stocks will be restored to transaction after earthquake information disclosure.

Sichuan Meifeng (000731), New hope (000876) and Tianxing Instrument (000710) will announce earthquake information today. Sichuan Meifeng (000731)’s production facility and property were generally not damaged, and the company has suspended production yesterday afternoon to avoid aftershock of the earthquake. New hope (000876) revealed the preliminary damage from the quake and could not resume transaction due to unknown losses.
