As the disclosure of listed firms’ interim reports wrapped up
According to sources with the Shenzhen bourse, most of the listed SMEs disclosed their interim reports in the prescribed time, with 70% publishing performance forecast by the end of July. Moreover, they predicted performance of the first three quarters in the half-year report as required for the purpose of higher transparency, and enforced the new accounting standards in a compliant and prudent manner which bettered the disclosure of financial data and facilitated smooth transition between two accounting regimes.
Subsequent auditing of the SMEs’ interim reports is said to be underway at the moment.
