SONG LI Ping, General Manager of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) expressed at awarding ceremony of the 6th New Fortune Best Analyst that securities analysis industry is becoming more regulated and experienced. However, as advancement of current economy and deepened market reform, the industry is encountering new demands and new challenges.
SONG noted that 2008 is a complicated year with explosion of subprime crisis, financial turmoil, and volatility of capital market, which cast new problems to securities analysts.
The transformation of economic setup and construction of multi-layered capital market also forged new challenges to them. A growing number of innovative small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with new business modes and new economy are entering the market.
SMEs are important in shoring up industrial setup upgrading and sustainable development, they are also objectives for the multi-layered market to support as keys. Those enterprises have differences in assets, operations and managements from those of traditional enterprises.
Securities analysis industry is expected to improve itself to boost the market’s attention and support to SMEs to actually implement innovations and strategies and to bolster rapid and health development of economy.
