The “Securities Market Herald” under the SZSE Comprehensive Research Institute held the work discussion meeting and award ceremony for 2010 excellent thesis in Shenzhen. The special editors of the “Securities Market Herald” and authors of 2010 excellent thesis attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the editors and authors made the heated discussion over issues attracting much attention and research in the development of China’s capital market, giving some advices as regards how to do well in the “Securities Market Herald”. And the participants unanimously agreed on a few topics including that the “Securities Market Herald” shall continue to live up to the characteristic combining securities theory research and market practices, placing the focus on the major realistic problems in the development of the capital market, and so forth for the purpose of further making full use of outside resources, upgrading the influence of the magazine in terms of the academy, industry and policies.
Song Liping, the SZSE general manger, noted at the meeting that the backdrop of the rapid development of China’s economy and the capital market provides the unprecedented historic opportunity; and the SZSE will forge the “Securities Market Herald” as the channel or platform to connect the decision-making departments with the academic research institutes and guide the rational and constructive thinking of the market.
The “Securities Market Herald” which was created by the SZSE in 1991, is the only professional research periodical in China so far. In the past 20 years since its birth, the “Securities Market Herald’ had been gradually developed into the frontier magazine in China’s securities research field.
