Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro, and S&P Global 100 indices, effective after the close of trading on Thursday 12 October 2006:

• Allianz AG (Germany, SEDOL: 5231485, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40301030), a constituent of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P Global 100 indices, shares will increase to 431,152,986 following the issue of new shares to RAS SpA ordinary and savings shareholders. The Investable Weight Factor will be unchanged at 1.
