Share Changes for Abertis Infraestructuras, SA, Swiss Re And WH Smith Plc In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Monday 10 July 2006:

• Abertis Infraestructuras, SA (Spain, SEDOL: 4065663, GICS: Industrials, GICS Code: 20305020), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, shares will change to 570,971,849 following a recent capital increase.
• Swiss Re (Switzerland, SEDOL: 7189816, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40301050), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P Euro Plus indices, shares will change to 358,212,933 following a rights issue and acquisition of GE Insurance Solutions.
• WH Smith Plc (United Kingdom, SEDOL: B02Q4M5, GICS: Consumer Discretionary, GICS Code: 25504040), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will change to 181,088,800 following the issuance of new shares to employee share schemes.
