Share Change For Tullow Oil In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, effective after the close of trading on Thursday, 5 February 2009:

• Tullow Oil (United Kingdom, SEDOL: 0150080, GICS: Energy, GICS Code: 10102020), a member of the S&P Europe 350 and S&P United Kingdom indices, shares will increase to 799,800,000 following placing with institutional investors. There will be no IWF change.
