Share Change For Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA In The S&P Global 100 Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P Global 100 indices, effective after the close of trading on 7 September 2007:

  • Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (Spain, SEDOL: 5501906, GICS: Financials, GICS Code: 40101010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus, S&P Euro and S&P Global 100 indices, shares will increase to 3,747,969.000, following the acquisition of S&P 500 constituent, Compass Bancshares, in a deal expected to close on or about that date.

Standard & Poor’s will monitor the transaction and post updates as required.
