Share Change For Banca Popolare Italiana In The S&P/MIB Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/MIB Index effective after the close of trading Friday, September 29, 2006:

  • Banca Popolare Italiana (Italy, ISIN: IT00000064300, GICS: Financials), a member of the S&P/MIB Index, shares will increase to 682,360,539. Banca Popolare Italiana is issuing new shares to shareholders of Reti Bancarie and Bipielle Investimenti, following their merger by incorporation into BPI.

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
