Trading on Christmas' Eve (24 December 2009) and New Year's Eve (31 December 2009) will be from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. The Opening Routine will be from 8.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and the Closing Routine from 12.30 p.m. to 12.36 p.m.
For the purpose of calculating “Clear Working Days” before books closure, 24 December 2009 and 31 December 2009 will be treated as working days.
Accordingly, for Extended Settlement (ES),
- 24 December 2009 will be the first trading day for the January 2010 ES counters, and
- 31 December 2009 will be the last trading day for the December 2009 ES counters.
