Singapore Exchange Limited (“SGX”) would like to inform market participants that the occasional interruption in connectivity to the securities trading system this morning, was due to connectivity issues at the primary telecommunications provider. The securities member firms were switched to the back-up telecommunications provider.
SGX was informed in the afternoon that member firms using one of the major ISVs (order management system providers) experienced issues in the display of some prices. The ISV has taken action to rectify the situation. All other members were unaffected.
