SGX Orb Awards 2025 Winners Unveiled, Spotlighting Multi-Generational Perspectives

Date 27/11/2025

  • Eighth edition celebrates excellence in financial content and introduces youth voices through special category

SGX Group (Singapore Exchange) today announced the winners of the SGX Orb Awards 2025, recognising outstanding financial journalism and content that informs and empowers investors. Now in its eighth edition, the awards continue to champion fresh and balanced storytelling while embracing diversity in viewpoints, topics and insights that reflect the richness of our marketplace.

This year’s theme – multi-generational perspectives on the forces shaping capital markets – inspired submissions for The Special Category: The Markets of Tomorrow, where youth participants were invited to share bold ideas on the future of exchanges including digital innovation and borderless opportunities.

Entries for all the categories spanned a wide range of formats, from in-depth features and data-driven analysis to podcasts, videos and creative illustrations. Submissions were reviewed by an independent panel of judges comprising Chuin Ting Weber, CEO and CIO at MoneyOwl; Richard Chan, Partner and Head of Equities at Avanda; Sophie Astles, former Head of Awards & Research at GlobalCapital; Terence Wong, Founder and CEO at Azure Capital; and for the Special Category – Alvin Chow, Assistant Director, Investment Advisory at iFAST Global Markets and Co-Founder of Dr Wealth, and Gerald Wong, Founder and CEO at Beansprout.

Teo Ai June, Head of Marketing & Communications, SGX Group, said, “Congratulations to all winners and finalists. The SGX Orb Awards not only recognises content producers in our marketplace but also serves as a meeting point for ideas and dialogue. This year’s multi-generational lens reflects our commitment to promote investor education and nurture talent. In an age where fact races fiction in our social feeds, responsible voices – established and emerging - are vital to help investors navigate noise and form informed views.”
