Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) announced today that it will be launching its first online securities investment challenge, StockWhiz, to engage new investors to learn how to invest in the Singapore stock market.
StockWhiz Challenge allows participants to invest using virtual cash in a real-time, online environment. Participants stand to win cash prizes of up to S$20,000.
The objectives of StockWhiz Challenge are to educate new investors in share investing and to enhance the skills of existing investors.
The launch of StockWhiz Challenge is a key plank in SGX's investor education strategy which seeks to build a vibrant and empowered retail investor community through information and knowledge.
