The Stock Exchange of Thailand will organize “SET in the City”, the annual SET’s flagship investment expo in Bangkok during November 16-19, featuring various investment products and innovative services.
SET Senior Executive Vice President Rinjai Chakornpipat said that nowadays information and technology have been playing a vital role in investor’s daily life. The use of social media and internet has been used in investment and reached a point where pretty much of our investment is accessible with a touch of a button. As of September 2017,the number of online stock trading accounts on SET has increased to 1.86 million accounts, representing 87 percent of the total 2.13 million securities trading accounts. To enhance investor knowledge and to equip investors with the latest financial technology for investment, SET in the City 2017, joined by around 100 leading organizations in the capital market, is aimed to showcase cutting-edge financial technology for investment tools and to provide viewpoints and knowledge from experts on financial planning and investment. In addition, the event will also highlight new development such as TFEX Gold-D, and LIVE Platform a new trading market place for startups. Thai listed companies will also participate in the event to present their innovations project. Investors can attend many seminars of over 50 topics, presented by experts for retails investors. This event will be held during November 16-19, 2017 at Royal Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon shopping mall.
