The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has appointed Pattana Wongnirund as Executive Vice President (EVP), Head of Information Technology Development Group, Information Technology Division, effective August 16, 2020.
SET President Pakorn Peetathawatchai said, “With over 20 years of experience in both technology and commercial aspects, Pattana will play a vital role in further strengthening SET’s IT operations and development and integrate his business perspectives into IT development to enhance quality and create innovations. His expertise will be instrumental in our strategic direction to promote sustainable growth for the capital market and all stakeholders.”
Prior to joining SET, Pattana worked with a number of leading organizations including US-based Oracle Corporation, Accenture Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Settrade.Com Co., Ltd., SET, and Motana Quality Food Co., Ltd. Pattana graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, USA.
