Semi-Annual Changes To The NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ), parent of the world's first electronic stock market and a leading index provider, today announced the results of the semi-annual evaluation of the NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index (Nasdaq:NQ96DIVUS), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, March 18, 2013.

The following fifteen securities will be added to the Index: Apple Inc. (Nasdaq:AAPL), America Movil, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE:AMX), Broadcom Corporation (Nasdaq:BRCM), Cogent Communications Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:CCOI), Amdocs Limited (NYSE:DOX), EarthLink, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELNK), Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NYSE:NTT), NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq:NVDA), Oi S.A. (NYSE:OIBR), Quality Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:QSII), SAP AG (NYSE:SAP), STMicroelectronics N.V. (NYSE:STM), TELUS Corporation (NYSE:TU), United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq:UNTD) and Western Digital Corporation (Nasdaq:WDC).

The Index includes up to 100 Technology and Telecommunications companies that pay a regular or common dividend. The NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index is evaluated on a semi-annual basis. As a result of the re-ranking, the following nine securities will be removed from the Index: ADTRAN, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADTN), ARM Holdings plc (Nasdaq:ARMH), Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. (NYSE:CHT), France Telecom (NYSE:FTE), Infosys Limited (NYSE:INFY), P.T. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (NYSE:TLK), Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (NYSE:TSM), TIM Participacoes S.A. (NYSE:TSU) and Virgin Media Inc. (Nasdaq:VMED).
