S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes To The S&P/TSX Canadian Indices - A Deletion From The S&P/TSX Composite And Global Mining Indices

S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The shareholders of Aurizon Mines Ltd. (TSX:ARZ) have agreed to a Plan of Arrangement with  Hecla Mining  Company  (NYSE:HL).  Aurizon  Mines  shareholders  will  receive  a combination of cash and shares of Hecla Mining for each share held. Aurizon Mines will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, Capped Composite and Composite Equal Weight, the S&P/TSX Completion and SmallCap, the  S&P/TSX Capped Materials, the S&P/TSX Global Gold and Equal Weight Global Gold and the S&P/TSX Global Mining Indices after the close of trading on Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
