Safran And InBev Shares Increase In The S&P European Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices effective after the close of trading Monday, May 23, 2005:
  • Safran SA (France, SEDOL: B058TZ6, GICS: Industrials, GICS Code: 20101010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, shares will increase to 417,029,585. This follows the issue of new ordinary shares in the final stages of the merger between SAGEM and SNECMA.
  • InBev (Belgium, SEDOL: 4755317, GICS: Consumer Staples, GICS Code: 30201010), a member of the S&P Europe 350, S&P Euro Plus and S&P Euro indices, shares will increase to 606,356,874. The new shares were issued following the mandatory take over bid for AmBev.
