S.A.C.I. Falabella Share Increase And IWF change In The S&P Latin America 40 Indices

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P Latin America 40 Index effective after the close of trading on Wednesday, July 21, 2004. < p> S.A.C.I. Falabella (Chile, SEDOL 2771672) shares will increase by 417,671,243 to 2,387,928,763. The company has updated the number of shares as result of the acquisition of Invesiones Sodimac S.A. (non-constituent). Simultaneously the Investable Weight Factor will change from 0.2796 to 0.2567.

Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
