RTS Trading Statistics July 2010 - Upward Trend Continues

Investors remained positive in July. The international financial environment was encouraging and prices generally moved upwards.

The leading RTS Index gained 10.48% during July, reaching 1,479.73 points. In July 2010 RTS volumes were up 4.26% over the previous month. Total RTS Exchange and OTC market activity grew to USD49.79 billion during July 2010.

Activity on Futures and Options on RTS (FORTS) during July fell 11.83% to 48.2 million contracts compared with June 2010.
