Yesterday Royal Reesink N.V. joined the ranks of companies listed on Alternext, Euronext’s alternative market for small and midsize companies. Reesink is the 69th company to be traded on Alternext since the market was launched in May 2005, and the second company from the Netherlands.
Alternext was specially designed to offer small and medium-sized enterprises efficient access to the capital market, enabling them to fund further growth, innovation and job creation. For investors, Alternext offers transparency and protection.
Alternext started in Paris in May 2005 and was introduced in Brussels and Amsterdam in 2006. It enjoys the support of a wide variety of national institutions in the countries where it operates, and currently lists 69 companies with a combined market capitalisation of €2.8 billion.
