On November 13th, 2008 the number of trades made on FORTS hit the record high. By the closure of the main trading session FORTS members made 201 390 trades in futures and options. The previous record was set on September 10th, 2008 with the number of trades reaching 172 300.
There was one more record improved on November 13th, 2008. FORTS members made a record number of trades in futures contracts – 199 271 trades. The previous record was reported on November 12th, 2008 when participants made 169 160 trades in futures contracts.
November 13th, 2008 also saw a record number of trades in the RTSI futures contracts. By the closure of the main trading session 136 014 trades were made. The previous record was set on November 12th, 2008 when the number of trades in the RTSI futures reached 124 001.
