Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting. Secretary Yellen discussed the need to sustain robust economic and budgetary support for Ukraine and welcomed the European Commission’s recent multi-year Ukraine assistance proposal. In addition, Secretary Yellen raised multilateral development bank evolution and international tax.
