Dave Shworan, CEO, QuoteMedia Ltd., and Eric Sinclair, President, TMX Datalinx and Group Head of Data Services, will open trading on Toronto Stock Exchange tomorrow in celebration of the selection of QuoteMedia as the web solution provider for TMXmoney.com.
TMXmoney.com features a host of high-quality North American financial content. With an average of approximately 40 million page views and 1.2 million unique visitors per month, it is one of the most popular financial websites in Canada.
As a web solution provider for the TMXmoney.com website, QuoteMedia is delivering, hosting and managing an array of custom solutions for the display of market data and research information including detailed stock and mutual fund quotes, interactive charting, comprehensive news and company information, commodities and futures, and other robust financial content.

For Market Openings: Media may pick up a feed from the TOC (television operations centre) for all market open ceremonies. The feed is named TSX Transmit 2 and is produced at the TMX Broadcast Centre and sent live to the TOC. Those featured in the market opening move into position for the market open ceremony at approximately 9:27 a.m. and the markets will open with the sound of a siren (the traditional market open on Toronto Stock Exchange) at 9:30 a.m.
