The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Golden Dragon China Index (Nasdaq:HXC), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, September 23, 2013.
The following six securities will be added to the Index: China Automotive Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CAAS), Phoenix New Media Limited (NYSE:FENG), Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq:HSOL), JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE:JKS), China Ming Yang Wind Power Group Limited (NYSE:MY) and Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE:STP).
The Index is designed to provide insight and access to the unique economic opportunities taking place in China while still providing the transparency offered with U.S. listed securities.
As a result of the re-ranking, the following two securities will be removed from the Index: Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq:ACTS) and Simcere Pharmaceutical Group (NYSE:SCR).
