The PLUS stock exchange roadshow heads to London on Thursday 14th October to showcase investment opportunities on the exchange to the private investment community.
The event, to be held at The May Fair Hotel, is aimed at private client investment managers, private investors, and retail brokers. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk with senior management from successful PLUS companies around the UK about their businesses and the investment opportunities they offer. Companies presenting include:- Mechan Controls plc – a designer and manufacturer of electronic non-contact safety switches for use in a wide range of industrial sectors ·
- One Media Publishing plc – a business to business music and video rights provider
- Quercus Publishing plc – the fastest-growing trade publisher in the UK in 2009 with sales rising 133%, making it the 18th largest publisher with a market share of 0.7%
- Zeta Compliance Group plc – provides products and services to enable organisations to ensure that they meet their Environmental, Health and Safety obligations
Paul Haddock, Head of Capital Markets at the PLUS stock exchange, said: “There is a sizeable community of private investors and entrepreneurial businesses in London. With private investors providing essential support and liquidity to smaller quoted companies, it is vital that we provide a meeting point for both groups and take the time to demonstrate the investment prospects on our exchange.
“These roadshow are a key part of a broader initiative we are undertaking to help raise the profile and visibility of companies on our market and we have seen a positive impact on them following similar events we have held earlier this year in key financial centres around the UK.”
The event will be held over lunch between 12.00 and 14.30. The May Fair Hotel is located at Stratton Street, London, W1J 8LT. Three’s a Crowd, the PLUS-quoted events management firm, has organised the roadshow in partnership with PLUS.

PLUS is focused on serving the specific needs of the private investor. The exchange gives investors the chance to access innovative financial products, as well as providing access to growth companies. PLUS has built a reputation as a market for non-standard products, and plans to further broaden the offering and list diverse asset classes.
