PLUS Primary Market Activity Remains Healthy - RAK Takes Over As Largest Cap Company At £600m - Alexander David Securities Joins The Exchange As Corporate Advisor

PLUS – the new stock exchange for London – reports continuing activity on the PLUS-quoted market, its market for growth company stocks. The market has seen sustained progress with new admissions, fundraisings and new company applications.

New companies. There were three new admissions to the market during March and April.
  • RAK Real Estate Limited, a real estate company based in Kuwait, which is currently the largest PLUS-quoted company by market cap £603.67m
  • 3D Diagnostic Imaging plc, a leading producer of handheld devices for the early detection and monitoring of tooth decay, with a market cap of £6.86m

New applications remained steady and strong, including Cenkos’ Essenden notes, which form part of Georgica’s (the AIM-quoted company) proposed changes to corporate structure.*

Fundraising. YTD, PLUS companies have raised almost £8m with new company 3D Diagnostic Imaging raising some £2m when it came to market.

M&A. Notable M&A on the PLUS-quoted market included Woodspeen’s announced acquisition of A&R Training Services Ltd valued at £3.1m.

New Corporate Adviser. Alexander David Securities (ADS)** becomes the latest firm to join PLUS as a Corporate Advisor. As an important and active full service, independent, advisory broker, ADS handles equity and derivatives business for corporate, institutional and private clients.

ADS’s arrival takes the number of corporate advisers to over 70 and follows the arrival earlier this year of Cenkos Securities and Bridgehall Stockbrokers as corporate advisor members>/p>
