On 12 November 2007, PLUS Markets Group plc ("PMG" or "the Company") confirmed the successful launch of its new trading and market surveillance technology.
At that time, the range of securities available for trading on the PLUS market extended from small and mid-cap companies to full coverage of all London-listed shares including the FTSE 100.
The Company confirms today that the range of securities available for trading on its platform has been further extended to include all European liquid shares as defined by MiFID, taking the total number of securities on PLUS to over 7,500.
The Company's trading services offering has expanded significantly to encompass all shares admitted to trading on pan-European Regulated Markets, allowing investment firms to meet their execution, reporting and transparency needs under MiFID in an efficient and cost-effective manner via PMG's on- and off-exchange quote-driven services.
