They agreed on the development of standardisation for access, to be available in november 2000. The group will work with Fix and Swift (international protocol for order routing, data broadcasting and other financial operations) to define the standards.
The exchanges will also implement the harmonised market model in November 2000, bringing total standardisation to trading functionality.
The harmonised market model will be made public in the coming weeks.
