Palestine Exchange Notification: Trading Hours And Fluctuation Rates %

Please be informed that the following changes will take place at the PEX as per the Palestine Capital Market Authority instructions including:

  • Increasing the continuous trading hours to be 3 hours from 10:00-13:00. Accordingly, phases of the trading session will be as follows:

- Pre-open: 9:45-10:00
- Open: 10:00
- Continuous trading: 10:00-13:00
- Cross trades/Pre-close: 13:00- 13:30
- Closed: 13:30

  • Modification of fluctuation rates (+/-) on stock prices during each trading session as follows:

- 7.5% for stocks of listed companies in the primary market (as classified in the trading sheet)
- 5.0% for stocks of listed companies in the secondary market (as classified in the trading sheet).

These amendments will take affect as of Sunday 2nd June 2013.
