Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (OSE) launched the evening session (newly-introduced trading hours from 16:30 to 19:00 for all stock index futures and options) today, September 18.
Trading volume of all the stock index futures and options during the evening session is 7,081 units - 1,293 units of Nikkei 225 Futures (approx. 1.3% of intra-day trading volume), 4,483 units of Nikkei 225 mini (approx. 2.2% of intra-day trading volume), and 1,305 units of Options (approx. 1.4% of intra-day trading volume). As for the price movement, the price of the lead contract month of Nikkei 225 Futures moved in the range of 50 yen and that of Nikkei 225 mini moved in the range of 60 yen - trading of both contract months closed up from the close of the intra-day session.
