Neubauer will face current CBOT Chairman David P. Brennan, who is the nominee of the CBOT Nominating Committee. Brennan is an independent trader and member of the exchange since 1980.
The CBOT election will be only for the office of Chairman, a change authorized by the October 12 vote by the CBOT membership which called for a reduction in the Board of Directors to 18 positions from 27 and to five positions from seven on the Nominating Committee.
