October Summary Of Trading, IPOs And Other Activities On The Warsaw Stock Exchange

October was a very good month on the WSE primary market as 14 companies had their IPOs, including 11 on the Main Market and 3 on NewConnect.

There were 11 IPOs on the WSE main market in October, including 2 foreign companies: Plaza Center and ASBISC Enterprises PLC.

There were 336 WSE listed companies, including 19 foreign companies at the end of October.

There were 64 IPOs on the WSE Main Market year to date at the end of October. This was more than in all of 1997 which was the record-high year with 62 IPOs.
