NZX Welcomes Mike Pero Mortgages Limited To The NZSX Market

New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) is pleased to welcome Mike Pero Mortgages Limited to the NZSX Market today.

NZX Markets Development Manager, Geoff Brown, said Mike Pero Mortgages is the latest in a string of high calibre New Zealand companies with well-known brands that have listed this year. The Christchurch-based mortgage broking firm is the seventh New Zealand company to list equity securities on one of NZX's markets this year, and the third to raise capital from the public.

“It's exciting to see well-established and profitable companies such as Mike Pero Mortgages raising capital to fund further growth,” he said. “Our focus is on continuing to provide companies an easy and cost-effective means to grow and expand in a public environment, so we're pleased to see more and more well-known Kiwi companies choosing listing as their way forward.”

Securities in Mike Pero Mortgages Limited will be quoted on the NZSX Market under the issuer code ‘MPM' from 10am today.

The company's listing follows an initial public offering of shares which closed over-subscribed last week.
