NZX today announces a share split and a new dividend policy.
A share split, increasing the number of shares issued from 30.7 million to 123.0 million is declared. The new dividend policy has two components. First, a post share split 2009 full year dividend of 6.5 cents per share will be paid, and second, NZX intends to increase the annual dividend by a minimum of 1 cent per share per year for each of the next five years.
