- The number of NZX real time Data terminals was 10,990, an increase of 24% on the same period last year.
- Smartshares funds under management up 29% since March 2007, at $669 million. Smartshares has 15,157 unitholders, an increase of 1%.
Trading
- Average number of daily trades was 2,190 for March, a 11% decrease on the same period in 2007.
- Total number of trades was 41,616 a 24% decrease on the same period last year.
- Total value traded in March was $2.258 billion, a 27% decrease on the same period last year. Average daily value traded of $119 million, a 15% decrease on the same period last year.
- Total number of trades for the NZSX was 39,733 for March, a 23% decrease on the same period last year. Total value traded on the NZSX was $2.148 billion for March, a 28% decrease on the same period last year.
- Total number of trades for the NZAX was 358 for March. Total value traded on the NZAX was $2 million.
- Total number of trades for the NZDX was 1,525 for March. Total value traded on the NZDX was $109 million.
Capital Raised
- New equity raised in March was $119 million and new debt raised in March was $648 million. Total capital raised was $767 million.
Other
- Number of NZX Market Data terminals has increased to 10,990.
- Smartshares funds under management (FUM) is $669 million across its five ETFs, a 29% increase on the same period last year. Smartshares has a total of 15,157 unitholders.
- The total number of instalment warrants trades in October was 1,138, a 11% decrease on the same period last year. Total value traded for instalment warrants for October was $6 million.
